Our first stop on this incredible classic tour will lead us through the ancient city of Lhasa. Day 02 - 03: Sightseeing in Lhasa
Sightseeing in Lhasa - Sightseeing & excursion of Potala Palace,The Jokhang Temple,surrounding Bharkhor Market,Drepung Monastry, Sera Monastry and many more.
Day 04: Lhasa to Gyantse (3959m) - 261km
8 hours drive - The attraction where you can explore Karo La pass(5010m),Kambala pass(4794m),Nozing Khangsa(7223m),Ralung(6236m) and Yamdrok Tso (Tarquoise Lake),Overnight at Hotel
Day 05: Gyantse to Xigatse(3900m)- 90km
Gyantse is small bustling town steeped in history which can be reached after taking 2 hours driving.It lies on southwest of Lhasa on the bank of Nyang Chu river.On the 15th century,it served as the capital of a small kingdom.Visit khumbum Chorten which was built arround 1400 AD.Xigatse is a small market where you can explore a very famous Tashilumpo Monastry.Overnight rest at Hotel/Guest house
Day 06: Xigatse to Lhatse (4050m) -150km
After visiting Tashilumpo Monastry and the seat of Panchen Lama,drive to Lhatse.And overnight rest.
Day 07: Lhatse to Nyalam (3600m) -285km- Drive through pass with the view of Jugal Himal,Xixapangma(8013m highest in Tibet),Mt.Makalu (8464m),Mt.Cho Oyu(8201m), Mt.Everest (8848m).Drive all the way to Nyalam via Lalung La pass(5050m)
Day 08: Nyalam to Kathmandu (1300m)-153km – 5-6 hours drive through the hillside road.
